SAN JOSE — The judges won’t be awarding the Sharks any extra style points for their win over the Edmonton Oilers Saturday.
After jumping out to a 3-0 lead, the Sharks (29-18-8) found themselves trailing the Oilers (23-29-4) in the third, the result of four unanswered goals in a span of 12:32. But Team Teal managed to sneak out of the game with the win, jumping back into second place in the Pacific Division with a one-point lead over the Los Angeles Kings.
