SAN JOSE — The Sharks’ occasional habit of letting a third period lead slip away reared its ugly head again Tuesday night at SAP Center.
This time, though, the Sharks had the proper response.
The Minnesota Wild scored two goals in the first 3:27 of the third period to erase what had been a 3-1 San Jose lead.
But Barclay Goodrow came back to record the game-winner, as he redirected a Brent Burns shot past goalie Devan Dubnyk at the 7:25 mark of the third to help the Sharks earn a 4-3 win.
“Obviously the beginning of the third period didn’t go the way we wanted,” Goodrow said.
