SAN JOSE — With Erik Karlsson watching from the couch, the Sharks scraped out another point against one of the Western Conference’s worst teams.
After falling to the Los Angeles Kings in overtime Saturday, the Sharks (19-12-7) losing streak reached three games Sunday as they dropped a shootout decision to the Arizona Coyotes. They earned the point while playing without Karlsson, who received a two-game suspension from the NHL Department of Player Safety earlier in the day for a hit on Los Angeles Kings forward Austin Wagner that the league deemed to be illegal.
Karlsson will be eligible to rejoin the Sharks lineup on Dec.
