SAN JOSE — The Sharks know they have a few things to clean up before they face the Pacific Division-leading Edmonton Oilers at home on Tuesday.
But no one’s going to gripe for too long, not while they’re on a run like this after such an abysmal start.
The Sharks’ 4-3 shootout win over the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday was their sixth straight, and at 10-10-1, they’ve completed the long road back to a .500 points percentage — even though it hasn’t always been pretty.
After an uneven performance against the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday, the Sharks were largely outplayed by the Red Wings at even strength and badly outshot through 60 minutes and overtime.
