SAN JOSE — The Sharks’ six-game win streak brought them closer to the pack in the Pacific Division. It gave them a much-needed morale boost after a disheartening end to a long road trip last month. At times, it showed what the Sharks can be capable of this season.
It also hid a few of the Sharks’ blemishes, which bubbled to the surface for all to see in Tuesday’s 5-2 loss to the Edmonton Oilers.
The Sharks (10-11-1) found ways to beat Anaheim last Thursday and Detroit on Sunday even though they were far from perfect. Tuesday, they fell behind by two goals after the 7:59 mark of the first period and never fully recovered as they lost for the first time since Nov.
