SAN JOSE — Bob Boughner has been on the job as the Sharks’ interim coach for a little more than a week. He already sounds a bit exasperated.
“I feel like a little bit of a broken record sitting up here,” Boughner said after the Sharks’ 5-2 loss to the St. Louis Blues on Saturday. “It’s a lot of the same. Again, results are what matter and we need the points.”
Do they ever.
With the loss, their eighth in nine games this month, the Sharks remained stuck at 34 points and entered Sunday in a three-way tie for 13th, and last, place in the Western Conference.
