NASHVILLE — The Sharks flew back to San Jose on Wednesday morning in nearly the same predicament they were in six weeks ago when they got back home after a dismal road trip.
In need of goals, a spark and plenty of wins.
This time, though, going on a run figures to be a tougher task.
After their 3-1 loss to the Nashville Predators on Tuesday, the Sharks are 15-16-2, five points out of a playoff spot and in sixth place in the Pacific Division.
They play five straight games at home before the Christmas break, starting with Thursday’s game against the New York Rangers.
