To all the bandwagon fans joining the Sharks for their ride through the Stanley Cup Final: You're about to be treated to the legendary voice of broadcaster Mike "Doc" Emrick.
Emrick, 69, is regarded by some to be the Vin Scully of hockey and one of the elite play-by-play broadcasters in any sport. A multiple Emmy winner and member of the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame, he's the lead announcer for Cup coverage on NBC and NBCSN.
Along with a great set of pipes, the Indiana native brings to the booth loads of enthusiasm and an encyclopedic knowledge of the sport.
