The San Jose Sharks are in Boston preparing for a Tuesday night matchup with the Bruins, and they've got a new guest in the dressing room.
Veteran forward Dainius Zubrus is with the team on a tryout basis, CSNCalifornia.com has learned.
The 18-year NHL veteran is no stranger to the league. He played for Sharks coach Peter Deboer in New Jersey for the past four seasons.
Zubrus, 37, has recorded 584 career points (225 goals, 359 assists), playing for five different teams -- the Flyers, Canadiens, Capitals, Sabres and Devils.
He recorded 10 points (4 goals, 6 assists) in 74 games last season and has not suited up for a game this year.
