The Sharks have sent AHL goaltender Troy Grosenick and forward Brandon Bollig to the Nashville Predators in exchange for the Predators’ 2018 sixth-round draft pick, as announced by both clubs today.
Bollig was signed by the Sharks during free agency this summer. He has played 45 games with the San Jose Barracuda, scoring eight goals and two assists and logging 68 penalty minutes.
Grosenick was once in the running to back up Martin Jones in the wake of losing James Reimer to free agency in 2016, but has struggled to maintain consistency since being beaten out for the job by Aaron Dell.
