SAN JOSE – Calling Saturday’s game between the Sharks and Golden Knights “dramatic” is a bit of an understatement.
With both teams entering the game trying to end losing streaks, and knowing they’re going to be facing each other in Round 1 of the Stanley Cup playoffs, San Jose and Vegas squared off in a highly-entertaining fight-heavy game that went all the way into overtime.
In the end, Brent Burns carried Team Teal to a 4-3 victory with a goal 22 seconds into overtime, ended their seven-game losing streak, and helping the Sharks secure home ice for Round 1 of the playoffs.
