To a child, the tall, bearded, gap-toothed man walking around Disney World might indeed appear to be a pirate — especially if he's wearing a Jack Sparrow hat and a pirate-themed shirt.
That man, San Jose Sharks defenseman Brent Burns, is of course not a pirate, but Burns nevertheless obliged a few autograph requests from kids who thought the hockey star was on a break from sailing the high seas on the Black Pearl.
In an interview at the recent NHL Awards in Las Vegas, Burns was asked about how he was spending his summer, and about a photo he tweeted of him and his kids posing with Chewbacca from "Star Wars.
