Amid a flurry of entry-level deals announced Tuesday morning, the San Jose Sharks also signed forward Jonny Brodzinski to a one-year, two way contract. Brodzinski was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the fifth round (148th overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
The now 26-year-old appeared in 13 games for the Kings last Kingsseason, scoring two goals and tallying one assist. He also appeared in three games for the Kings’ AHL affiliate, the Ontario Reign, where he scored one goal.
Brodzinski is on a two-way contract, which means he will be paid differently in the AHL than at the NHL level.
