After previously filing for arbitration last Sunday, goaltender Adin Hill and the San Jose Sharks avoided an arbitration hearing by agreeing to a two-year contract. Per the Sharks’ club policy, financial terms of the contract were not disclosed. Hill becomes the third NHL player who filed for arbitration to reach an agreement with their club before an arbitration ruling, joining Zach Sanford of the St. Louis Blues and Victor Mete of the Ottawa Senators.
“We’re pleased to get Adin under contract solidifying our goaltending position for the coming season,” said Sharks general manager Doug Wilson in a press release.
