The San Jose Sharks announced they have reassigned three players to the San Jose Barracuda of the American Hockey League. Forwards Dylan Gambrell and Noah Gregor and defenseman Jacob Middleton will return to the Sharks’ top developmental affiliate.
Gambrell has been with the Sharks since the beginning of the season, appearing in 30 games and recording six points. He skated just over eight and a half minutes last night in the Sharks’ 3-2 loss to the Arizona Coyotes, his lowest ice time in over a month. Last season, Gambrell spent most of his time in the AHL and recorded 45 points (20 goals, 25 assists) in 51 games.
