The ban on large public gatherings in Santa Clara County, announced late Monday in response to the coronavirus, will impact at least three San Jose Sharks home games and one for the San Jose Earthquakes.
Those numbers will grow if the ban extends beyond March, its current limit. The Sharks, who completed a five-game homestand less than 24 hours before the ban was announced, play their next four games on the road, starting Wednesday night in Chicago. They return to the SAP Center for a March 19 game against the Montreal Canadiens. They also have home games March 21, March 23 and March 29.
