The San Jose Sharks have reignited their flame with veteran forward Patrick Marleau. This was a rumor practically all summer. After Patty was left team-less and the Sharks started their season, well, badly, the 40-year-old forward will put on a teal sweater again.
Patrick Marleau left the San Jose Sharks in 2017 and spent two seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs. This summer, he was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes, who bought out the remainder of his 3-year, $6.25 million contract, leaving him a free agent. It was clear he wanted to return to the Tank, but Doug Wilson wasn’t so keen at first, letting the youth within the organization have a shot first.
