The Sharks recalled forward Timo Meier from the San Jose Barracuda, the team announced on Thursday morning.
Meier leads the Barracuda in goals (9), and sits third on the team in points (15) while playing in 17 games this season. He is tied for the team lead in plus/minus with a plus-8 rating on the year.
The 20-year-old is currently tied for 18th place in the AHL in goals.
Meier had a career-long four game point streak (5 goals, 3 assists) from Nov. 25 to Dec. 4, and had his first multi-goal game on Dec. 3 at San Antonio.
