After a cryptic Tweet sent yesterday afternoon, Stefan Noesen announced that he has re-signed for one more year with the San Jose Sharks. The 27-year-old winger got a small pay raise in his new $925,000 deal.
Drafted 21st overall in the 2011 NHL Draft by the Ottawa Senators, Noesen has bounced around the league, only really getting a decent look at the NHL level with the New Jersey Devils from 2016-2019. At the end of the 2019 season, he signed an AHL contract with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, eventually earning a one-year, two-way NHL contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
