The Sharks have re-signed goalie Troy Grosenick to a two-year contract extension, the club announced on Monday.
Per a source, the contract is a two-way deal worth $650,000 at the NHL level both years.
The 27-year-old is coming off of a season in which he was named as the American Hockey League’s top goaltender while playing for the San Jose Barracuda, posting 30 wins (second in the AHL), a .926 save percentage (second in the AHL) and 2.04 goals-against average (third in the AHL). He led the league with 10 shutouts, and was selected as a first team AHL all-star.
