San Jose Sharks General Manager Doug Wilson announced Monday that the club has re-signed goaltender Aaron Dell to a one-year contract.
Dell, 26, posted a 15-8-2 record with a 2.06 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage to go along with four shutouts in 26 games with Worcester (AHL) last season.
Amongst AHL rookie goaltenders, Dell ranked 3rd in goals-against average, T-2nd in save percentage and T-3rd in shutouts in his first full AHL season. In addition, Dell posted an 8-1-2 record with a 2.84 goals-against average and a .902 save percentage in 12 games with Allen of the ECHL.
