SAN JOSE — Defenseman Erik Karlsson’s presence in the lineup Thursday isn’t the only reason why the Sharks’ home game against the Calgary Flames will have more of a regular season-type feel.
The Sharks and Flames both plan to dress NHL-caliber lineups for their second preseason meeting in three days, with Karlsson and Marc-Edouard Vlasic each making their exhibition game debuts.
Karlsson and Vlasic will be paired together Thursday, like they have been for the past week of practice. Brent Burns will skate with Joakim Ryan and Brenden Dillon will be with Justin Braun.
There isn’t a ton of time left to iron out the wrinkles.
