DALLAS — The Sharks made a third period push but their recent offensive struggles continued Monday with a 1-0 loss to the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center.
The Sharks finished with 30 shots, including 11 in the last 20 minutes, but Curtis McKenzie’s goal with 5:06 left in the second stood up as the winner. The Sharks were shut out for the first time since Jan. 14 when they lost 4-0 to the St. Louis Blues.
Aaron Dell made 19 saves, including a handful of the terrific variety, but the Sharks were sent to their third straight loss with a game against the Minnesota Wild coming up on Tuesday.
