Unlike many NHL players, Sharks forward Marcus Sorensen is still skating during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
“Here in Sweden, I’ve got good contacts with one of the rinks,” Sorensen said Monday via FaceTime. “So I’m renting my own ice time here, bringing a couple buddies and play.”
The 28-year-old is following health protocols in Sweden, but remains in his routine and ready for whatever hockey news breaks.
“I’m staying pretty much like a normal season,” Sorensen said.
It’s no secret that many NHL players in North America have tapered their workouts with no access to team facilities and no imminent return of scheduled games or playoffs.
