ST. PAUL, Minn. — Defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic will miss Tuesday’s game against the Minnesota Wild with the flu, the Sharks announced just prior to the game.
Chris Tierney missed Monday’s game with the flu but will return to the lineup as the Sharks hope to end a three-game losing streak.
Vlasic hasn’t missed a game since Jan. 7 against Detroit, the last of four games he was out after he suffered a facial injury Dec. 30 against the Philadelphia Flyers.
Vlasic has missed five games this season. The Sharks are 2-2-1 without Vlasic in the lineup.
