SAN JOSE — Forward Joonas Donskoi was scratched and Lukas Radil drew into the lineup for Game 7 of the Sharks’ first round playoff series against the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday at SAP Center.
It wasn’t immediately known why Donskoi was a scratch for the decisive game, although he took a huge hit from Golden Knights defenseman Brayden McNabb at the 17:08 mark of the first overtime of Game 6 in Las Vegas. Donskoi, though, got back up right after the hit and took fairly regular shifts to finish the game.
Sharks coach Pete DeBoer has liked the way Donskoi has played in the series since he re-inserted him into the lineup prior to Game 4.
