SAN JOSE — The Sharks had a handful of things to debut on Saturday night at home against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Their new third jersey was worn in public for the first time, donned by defenseman Erik Karlsson, who made his first appearance as a Shark on the ice at SAP Center. San Jose’s top line also made its debut, as Joe Thornton — in his first game since Jan. 23 — skated with both Joe Pavelski and Evander Kane for the first time in a game of any sort.
But the Sharks’ second line may have stolen the show, as Logan Couture, Tomas Hertl and Timo Meier combined for six points in regulation time.
