ST. LOUIS — The Sharks found out Sunday night just how difficult it will be to score power play goals and get pucks past St. Louis Blues goalie Brian Elliott.
Then again, they probably knew that already.The Sharks fell behind midway through the second period and couldn't find the equalizer in a 2-1 loss to the Blues in Game 1 of the Western Conference final at Scottrade Center.The Sharks finished with 33 shots on goal and couldn't get another goal past 16 shots in the second period and several frantic final moments of the third period. Tomas Hertl scored the Sharks' only goal with 4:22 left in the first period.
