The up-and-down start to the Sharks’ season continued a downward turn Sunday.
San Jose, which opened the season with four losses, then won three in a row, was dealt a 5-2 road loss by the Ottawa Senators — the Sharks’ fourth loss in their past five games.
“We’re 12 games in, and there are a handful of key guys for us that haven’t played well yet,” Sharks head coach Pete DeBoer said. “That’s on me to get them back to the level they need to be.”
Those key guys might include goalies Martin Jones and Aaron Dell.
