BUFFALO, New York — Sharks coach Pete DeBoer reiterates from time to time that he’s never married to certain line combinations. Things are always fluid based on chemistry, performance and sometimes injuries.
DeBoer’s hit on a winner, though, with center Logan Couture and wingers Patrick Marleau and Mikkel Boedker, who are playing some of their best hockey of the season since they were put together last month.
Boedker, Couture and Marleau were put together for the third period the Sharks’ Jan. 23 at Colorado, when Marleau scored four goals. In the five games since then, Couture and Marleau each have three goals and three assists, and Boedker has three assists and 13 shots on goal.
