SAN JOSE — Forward Joonas Donskoi’s upper body injury is improving but he will likely miss the next three games before the Sharks begin their bye week.
The Sharks play Florida, Arizona and Boston before they start a their five-day break on Feb. 20. Their first game after the break is Feb. 25 in Vancouver against the Canucks.
Donskoi skated again Tuesday after the Sharks finished their practice and was doing more shooting and stick handling than before.
Donskoi has missed nine games since he was hurt on a check by Andreas Martinsen early in the Sharks’ game against the Colorado Avalanche.
