SAN JOSE — Joe Thornton is not expected to play in Game 1 of the Sharks’ first round playoff series against the Anaheim Ducks this week, but coach Pete DeBoer believes every other player on San Jose’s roster will be available for the opener on Thursday at Honda Center.
Thornton has been skating regularly with the Sharks of late, but it is not known when he might be able to return from his right knee injury that caused him the last 35 games of the regular season.
