OTTAWA, Ontario — Joe Thornton isn’t holding onto any ill feelings toward Toronto Maple Leafs center Nazem Kadri for ripping a chunk of hair out of his bushy orange and gray beard Thursday night.
It was due for a trip to the barber shop anyways.

The future Hall of Famer’s beard was the talk of the NHL Thursday night after Kadri inadvertently yanked out a chunk of it during a fight just two seconds into the Sharks game against the Maple Leafs in Toronto.
