PITTSBURGH — When the Sharks, facing elimination, look for inspiration, they have plenty of sources to choose from, including their own past history of blowing a three-game lead against the Kings just two years ago.
Add to that the fact that San Jose has played a bit better in every game so far in the Stanley Cup Finals and the team’s record of success in the road and, well, the Sharks sound downright upbeat going into Wednesday’s Game 5 at Consol Energy Center.
“I think the one thing about our group is there’s a lot of belief in our game and in each other,” Sharks coach Peter DeBoer said Tuesday.
