Sharks get thumped by Blues in worst performance of season

ST. LOUIS — Pete DeBoer probably wants to burn the tape, a phrase he often uses when the Sharks throw a clunker out on the ice.

A goalie switch up and the tweak to the backend couldn’t stop the Sharks from putting forth their worst performance of the season in a 4-0 loss to the St. Louis Blues Friday night.

With Aaron Dell in between the pipes and Tim Heed making his 2018-19 debut in place of Joakim Ryan, the Sharks (8-6-3) got shutout for the first time since Oct. 8 and as they lost for the second time in back-to-back nights.
