SAN JOSE — Newly acquired defenseman Erik Karlsson has been — and will continue to be — the focal point of Sharks training camp, with the two-time Norris Trophy winner set to participate in his first practice with his new team on Wednesday morning.
Tuesday, though, was the first real opportunity for several players to show they should be in the opening night lineup with Karlsson, a group that includes forward and fellow Swede Marcus Sorensen.
