SAN JOSE — Thousands of teal-clad fans streamed into SAP Center on Sunday afternoon for the team’s Fan Fest celebration.
Attendance for the hours-long event, which began at 11 a.m. and ended with the “Legends Game” in the early evening was pegged at 6,122, a significantly larger crowd than was at last year’s event, according to a team spokesman.
Autograph seekers stood in lines as long as 100 feet in the concourse area, while other fans waited to get their picture taken inside the Sharks’ head on the ice surface or take shots on a target on a net at one end of the rink.
