SAN JOSE — While Sharks fans continue to await news about the apparent left-knee injury that Joe Thornton has suffered, former-teammate Jeremy Roenick provided details about the alternate captain’s health on his weekly podcast, “Roenick Life” on Monday.
The Sharks are expected to give an update on Thornton’s status Tuesday.
Roenick said he spoke with Thornton about the injury Sunday night and he told him it, “didn’t feel good.”
The former-Shark went on to say that Thornton’s description on the injury, which he suffered in a collision with Canucks forward Michael Chaput, sounds like an MCL sprain.
