SAN JOSE — It appears the Sharks, desperate to put some wins together and rejoin the Western Conference playoff hunt, will be getting back two valuable defensemen for their game against the Los Angeles Kings on Friday.
Both Mario Ferraro and Radim Simek skated Friday morning and assuming there are no setbacks, appear ready to return to the Sharks’ lineup.
Simek, who had a procedure a little more than two weeks ago to alleviate irritation in the meniscus in right knee, was activated off injured reserve Friday morning. Ferraro missed the last three games before the Christmas break with what was described as a minor upper body injury.
