Saturday’s game, a 3-2 shootout win by the Coyotes at SAP Center that continued a trend of contentious games between the two teams this season.
Arizona goalie Mike Smith finished with 38 saves, including five in overtime.
“Mike Smith plays well against them,” Coyotes coach Dave Tippett said. “He’s really played well. I think that the biggest key but it’s a rivalry game and their fun games to be involved in.
