EDMONTON, Alberta — Logan Couture was his own worst critic after the Sharks beat the Edmonton Oilers in Game 1 of their opening round playoff series at Rogers Place.
Winning, though, has a way of soothing any individual frustration.
Couture returned to the lineup just two-and-a-half weeks after a redirected puck resulted in significant damage to his mouth. Couture felt he could have been better, but the Sharks won the game and it appears Couture be ready to go again in Game 2 on Friday.
“For me, I can better and the positive is we won the game,” Couture said Thursday.
