Sharks coach Pete DeBoer takes jab at Blues coach Ken Hitchcock

SAN JOSE -- The verbal jousting between coaches in the Western Conference finals resumed Saturday when San Jose's Pete DeBoer ended his postgame news conference by taking a jab at St. Louis coach Ken Hitchcock.

Hitchcock made a goalie change before Game 4, subbing Jake Allen for Brian Elliott, and the Blues won 6-3 to even the series.Asked about the adjustments the Blues made, De Boer said: "I'm sure Hitch will you he made all kinds of great adjustments and every one of them worked. Hats off to him."Hitchcock fired the first salvo between the coaches. After Game 1, when DeBoer publicly implored the officials to "do their job," pointing to the low number of penalties called on the Blues, Hitchcock made reference to "whining.
