Marian Gaborik blew a shot past Sharks goalie Martin Jones with 53.8 seconds left in overtime to give the Los Angeles Kings a 3-2 come-from-behind win over San Jose in front of a sellout crowd of 17,562 at SAP Center on Sunday night.
Los Angeles center Vincent Lecavalier tied the game with just 12.2 seconds left in regulation with his fourth goal of the season.
Recently acquired from Philadelphia in a trade, Lecavalier gained body position against defenseman Brent Burns, and punched home his third goal as a King after left wing Tanner Pearson tipped right wing Dustin Brown’s drive from the corner as Los Angeles had its goalie pulled for an extra attacker.
