Sharks beaten by Ducks in shootout

Anaheim’s Max Comtois beat San Jose goaltender Devan Dubnyk in the shootout to give the Ducks a 2-1 win over the visiting Sharks on Saturday night.

Troy Terry also scored for the Ducks in the shootout. San Jose got a shootout goal from Ryan Donato, but Ducks goalie Ryan Miller then stopped Logan Couture and Kevin Labanc to pull out the win.

Couture opened the scoring 11 seconds into the game. Anaheim’s Isac Lundestrom tied it nearly 6 minutes into the second period.

Dubnyk stopped 32 shots; Miller halted 26.
