Let’s try this again, eh? This time for real, it’s #SashaSZN, as Alexander Chmelevski will make his NHL debut with the San Jose Sharks, who are facing off against his hometown Anaheim Ducks. The 21-year-old forward was a sixth-round pick by the Sharks in the 2017 NHL Draft.
The Sharks will see other changes to their forward lines tonight. Patrick Marleau has largely been sheltered in the bottom-six so far, but he’s bumped up to the Tomas Hertl-led second line. Rudolfs Balcers, Maxim Letunov and Fredrik Claesson, who were all called up from the Barracuda yesterday will be healthy scratches.
