It’s hard to believe, but we’re two months into the season and this is the first time we’re seeing the division rival Arizona Coyotes (13-12-2). Fresh off the loss in Dallas, the San Jose Sharks (14-11-5) are in Arizona this morning getting ready for the second half of another back-to-back.
The Coyotes are a little more rested. They played on Thursday night at home against the Washington Capitals. It was a 4-1 loss. The Coyotes are currently sixth in the Pacific Division, but only five points behind the Sharks, so it’s not as big of a difference as you would think.
