NBC Sports California announced on Thursday that Olympic gold medalist and six-time world champion Kendall Coyne Schofield will be part of the cable network’s coverage of the San Jose Sharks this season.
Coyne Schofield will appear for select games, joining Randy Hahn, along with either Jamie Baker or Bret Hedican as a three-person broadcast crew.
As a member of the U.S. Women’s National Hockey Team, Coyne Schofield competed in two Olympic Winter Games, capturing a gold medal at the 2018 games in PyeongChang when the U.S. pulled off a dramatic victory against Canada. In those Games, she recorded two goals and an assist and led the U.
