SAN JOSE — San Jose Sharks goalie Martin Jones might be a little disappointed to see the calendar turn from February to March.
But perhaps there’s a lot for him to look forward to, as well.
Error 0:
With his 30 saves Saturday night in the Sharks’ 5-0 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins, Jones improved to 3-2-0 last month with a .951 save percentage and a 1.40 goals against average. It was Jones’ second shutout in his last five starts, after he made 39 saves in the Sharks’ 2-0 win over Minnesota on Feb. 15.
“He’s been good for a long stretch here,” Sharks captain Logan Couture said of Jones.
