EDMONTON, Alberta — The Sharks’ recent games against potential playoff opponents haven’t gone very well.
They played the St. Louis Blues on March 16 and lost 4-1 and the Anaheim Ducks two days later and lost 2-1. They finished off a four-game road trip against the Nashville Predators on Saturday, and lost 7-2.
The Sharks certainly want to get their game in the right place over the next 10 days before the start of the postseason. Part of it too, perhaps, is setting a tone against a team they might see in the first round, like the Edmonton Oilers, who they happen to face Thursday.
