SAN JOSE — The Sharks' first-ever appearance in the Stanley Cup final will start in Pittsburgh.
The Penguins defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference final on Thursday night, setting up a matchup between the Sharks and one of the game's most recognizable player in Pittsburgh captain Sidney Crosby.The Cup final begins with games Monday and Wednesday at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh. The series moves to San Jose for games on June 4 and June 6.The Sharks and Penguins split their two meetings this season, but haven't seen one another since before the new year.
